The world can feel unforgiving and unmanageable for anyone. Stress, anxiety, depression and uncertainty are a part of the human experience and can feel more present than ever in our current atmosphere. Just because these unpleasant feelings are totally normal and natural it does not mean that we are destined to feel helpless or suffer in silence and misery. The therapeutic space can be a point of stability through major life changes, difficult to manage feelings, and fluctuating relationships whether they are Personal, professional or anything in between.

Therapy in and of itself does not provide all the answers, when you come to see me there is an acknowledgement that you are prepared to put in emotional and thoughtful work to prepare yourself for growth. As a therapist I build relationships with my clients to have meaningful discussions to challenge your status quo, to question your interactions, to clarify and highlight what works well, and to change what is not working well.

It begins with true surrender to the knowledge that each individual is their own whole person including you and everyone that you interact with from the grocery store cashier to the partner you share your life with. Through these relationships we can get glimpses of who we are and who we want to be. I do not maintain a rigid adherence to a single therapy style, instead I pull knowledge from many schools of thought and keep several tenants of compassion, humanism, and acceptance at the forefront. The human experience is inherently complex, however there are also commonalities that bind us to each other. Curiosity is our tool for growth, my hope is that through talking we can become curious about ourselves and our surroundings to then create choices to influence the development of a life that is closer to what we want. You are powerful to reach great heights by learning about the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. By acknowledging those things that you can control and accepting those that you can not you can make life more manageable and live more contently.
As a certified personal trainer we can discuss physical health routines to aid in mental health maintenance. It is my belief that the body is more than just a vessel for the brain. The body is an equal partner with the brain in this human experience. The communication between both systems is integral to what we understand as ourselves. One hour Initial diagnostic assessment - $155
Individual therapy begins with getting to know what you want to get out of the therapy space. We will work together to identify goals and strategies to roughly outline how our time together can be utilized.
One hour telehealth individual therapy session - $135
Each session is meant to meet you where you are at in that moment in time while maintaining a continual learning landscape that builds across sessions.
